“Three, two, one, liftoff!” World Class Vacations has a new program on the horizon! The STEM & STEAM College and Career Institutes program takes students on an “out of this world” experience to help them discover who and what they want to be when they become college students.
The STEM & STEAM College and Career Institutes program is designed to support teachers’ efforts and to enable students to grasp the importance of what they are teaching and how it impacts the students’ upcoming college and career choices, regardless of their future college and career paths. The program is for students in grades 7-12. They will have the opportunity to visit the Kennedy Space Center, home of the Space Shuttle Atlantis, visit and stay at Florida Institute of Technology, and learn the science behind Universal Studios®.
In this four day/ three night event, students will experience what it is like to live on a college campus for a few nights and make friends with students from all over the country. Not only will they be able to see the past, present, and future of NASA exploration, but they will be able to learn about leadership, business, and engineering while exploring Universal Studios® on a three hour behind-the-scenes guided tour. This event is a mix of enriching education plus the fun and excitement of free time in the parks at Universal Orlando® Resort.
The dates for the STEM & STEAM College and Career Institutes program are May 28-31, 2016 and June 3-6, 2016. For more information, click on the link below!
